I feel so lucky to have found Michael and YFS through thumbtack! I never thought I’d be looking for a personal trainer, but after struggling to find a class or routine that didn’t risk irritating my herniated discs in my back, I decided it was time to invest in a personalized plan. Michaels knowledge and background is impressive and he really cares about all his clients and the quality of services he and all the trainers are providing. I am not a gym person by nature but I really enjoyed working with Michael and learned so much.
Michael is hands down the best trainer in Nashville! He trained me my last semester of medical school from a period of late January to May. This was my first personal training experience and was not sure what to expect but Michael made the transition from never working out to being a regular gym goer effortless. We sat down, I told him what I wanted, and he made it happen. Over the course of late January I went from 190-165 and tacked on muscle as well. Easy to talk to, understanding of scheduling changes, and if you stick to his process it absolutely works and you will see the results you desire! I wish him much success! Michael is the absolute best personal trainer I have ever met. His qualifications simply blow everyone else out of the water! I feel so lucky to have been able to connect with him. He has two Master's degrees and ample experience with every type of fitness client. My personal goals are simply to stay in shape and gain muscle and Michael provides a variety of approaches for me to reach this goal. He's not intimidating like some trainers, and he's not mentally checked-out. I appreciate that he is very down to earth, easy to communicate with, and that he gives me 100% of his attention in our sessions. If you're considering Michael I would simply tell you to look no further! He really is someone I can confidently recommend to anyone as a personal trainer.
I was trying to lose weight for my wedding and hit a plateau so decided to look into a personal trainer and found Michael. He gave me a nutrition plan that was incredibly easy to follow and didn’t leave me constantly hungry. He was also very quick to respond any time I had questions or just needed some motivation! I finally got over my plateau and am on my way to reaching my goal weight. I can’t recommend him enough!
